Economic development, Human developments are some other key concerns for sustainable development. All the projects, proposing projects and existing business of Badagamuwa Tourist Complex bound with the concept of Eco Friendliness. Even when they are encouraging investors for new tourism ventures for Wayamba tourism, they encourage them to invest in Eco Friendly establishments. And they are very keen on get EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) for projects and encourage investors too for that.
The structure of the Badagamuwa Tourist Complex blends with the environment as it has built under the especial instruction of an architect. This is so important as this is much near to the Badagamuwa Forest Conversation. They did not use artificial air conditioning systems but use natural ventilation systems. And the establishment has built with less harm to the environment. And the 'Coconut paradise' one of their future projects is another main feature to mention. They are going to promote 'coconut' through this establishment as this is a well known product in Kurunegala. Kurunegala is famous for coconut and also in coconut triangle therefore their idea should be highly appreciated. They used its own resources to promote Wayamba tourism in a novel way. A museum, new products/exhibits from coconut tree, tools which used in past, hands on experiences, visitor participating activities are some of interesting elements that they are going to include in this 'Coconut paradise'.
